Dental implants constitute the most significant advance in dentistry in the last 40 years. The use of implants allows us to replace teeth with strong and beautiful artificial teeth that look natural and function as well as real teeth. We can replace one tooth up to a full set of teeth using implants. In fact, one of the biggest advantages comes when replacing all teeth. We usually do this by restoring four implants on the top and/or bottom with a horseshoe shaped hybrid denture. It snaps into place and can be removed daily for cleaning. This provides a true advantage over the permanently attached restorations provided at very expensive “implant centers”. These permanently attached dentures cannot be removed for cleaning making oral hygiene a major concern. You will also find that our implant retained, snap in and out horseshoe shaped denture provides all the esthetic and functional advantages with easier cleaning for about half the cost of an implant center.
We also provide fixed restorations using implants for one, two, three or more. These restorations work great for most people and can be made to look as good as natural teeth.
We enjoy treating kids. In fact, we strongly encourage you to bring in your infant child as soon as their first tooth appears or by their first birthday. We will examine your child’s mouth and discuss, in a very structured manner, how to avoid decay. Prevention starts with knowledge and Sage Dental Care is uniquely positioned to provide advanced preventive dental care. Terry Batliner is the Associate Director of the Center for Native Oral Health Research at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. He spends much of his time working to reduce early childhood decay in Native children. Through this work, he is constantly reviewing the literature to identify dental and behavioral interventions to reduce decay in small children. Drs. Batliner and Holecek will assure your child gets the best preventive care available anywhere.
If you want a new smile Sage Dental Care can make it happen. We use veneers, crowns and composite restorations to assure you look and feel better than ever. Our approach to cosmetic needs is formulated with your involvement. All the decisions are made by you with our advice and suggestions. We do not hard sell or push questionable treatments. Instead, we openly discuss what we can provide, how it will be done and present the cost of treatment. We guarantee your satisfaction and will work with you until you are completely pleased with your new look.
Many of our previous patients are willing to discuss their experience with you. If you would like to hear from them about how things were done and the improvement it has made in their life let us know. We will set up a time for you to meet or just talk on the phone with one of our patients.
Dr’s Holecek and Batliner provide basic oral surgery services – extractions and small biopsies. More advanced surgical procedures are provided by Dr. Steven Colm, who visits our office monthly to place implants and provide complex surgical care. He has 25 years of experience in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He was previously chief of oral surgery at the Denver VA medical and is currently the owner of Highlands Ranch Oral Surgery, a private practice south of Denver.
