Lynda graduated in 2004 with a BS degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago before going on to earn her dental hygiene degree in 2009. She has been told several times that she has a gentle touch and always strives to make your hygiene experience as comfortable as possible. She loves educating her patients and offering suggestions for how you can improve your oral health.
Outside of the office, Lynda enjoys running, cooking, traveling, and riding her motorcycle. After a hard day’s work, she likes hanging out with her two year old son Anthony. She also loves hiking with her husband and two year old English bulldog. She practiced dental hygiene for two and a half years before moving to Colorado. In her spare time, she actually volunteered for her city’s mobile dental clinic, serving low income families. She is very excited to be working for Sage Dental Care and hopes to see you soon!
Melissa has been working in dentistry for three years and counting, first joining Sage Dental Care one and a half years ago. She attended San Juan College and Eastern New Mexico University before pursuing her dental education at Fortis Institute in Erie, PA. Her favorite part of her work is being able to help people feel better about both their smiles and their health.
Originally from Farmington, NM, Melissa has a partner named Aaron, an 11 year old son named Holden, and an eight year old daughter named Haydyn. When she isn’t busy at the office, she enjoys playing video games, watching movies, cooking, baking, hanging out with loved ones, dancing, and reading. Dentistry is actually her second career! She chose to follow her dreams later in life and couldn’t be happier with her chosen path today.
Laura is one of our Dental Hygienists that brings over 20 years of Dental experience to our office. She always knew she wanted to be a Hygienist at a very young age. She started out in the field as a Dental Assistant and after about 10 years in that position, she went back to school in TN to pursue her dream of becoming a Dental Hygienist. She received her degree with honors in patient education. She prides herself in helping others with her compassion and care. She loves being there to make you comfortable and give you a gentle and thorough cleaning. She likes to educate her patients without lecturing them. She also loves the ability and freedom to work part-time, while also focusing on her other full-time job of being a Mother.
Laura is from Maryland, she lived on a farm at a young age and spent most of it being in the outdoors and nature. Which led her to CA and then to TN and GA. She still had not found the perfect spot to settle down until moving to Colorado. She loves all of what it has to offer. In her spare time she backpacks, hikes, whitewater rafts, snowshoes and spends as much time outdoors as possible with her husband of 17 years and 4 year old miracle daughter. She also lives with 5 cats they rescued while in TN. She is very fond of nature and all it’s beauty. She loves to photograph landscape and wildlife. She’s even been told her work is good enough to sell!
Marion, Registered Dental Hygienist
Marion has 37 years of experience as a dental hygienist, and even after all of this time, she still says that her favorite part of the job is having the opportunity to educate our patients to help them improve their oral health. She takes extra special care to be gentle and thorough in everything that she does around the office. As a three-time breast cancer survivor, she is thankful for modern medicine and loves that she gets to help people safeguard their own health every day.
Marion was born and raised in Grand Junction and is proud to be a Colorado native. Outside of the office, she likes to ride her horses and spend time in the barn of her family farm in Greeley. She has ridden, shown, and trained horses for many years and has also volunteered with the Boulder Valley Pony Club when her son was actively riding and competing. She’s now retired from competing herself, so these days, she enjoys riding trails and taking pack trips with her horses around different parts of Colorado in addition to camping, fishing, and cooking.
